C.E. Mission Weeks want teens to know what is involved in taking part in a week of ministry. To do that, a Letter to Teens is available for you to download and read.
Certain behavior is expected from you as a teenager when you attend C.E. Mission Weeks. These behaviors are expected to exemplify a Christian witness, protect you and others, as well as treating others in a Christ-like manner. Be sure to read over and begin to apply the Teen Guidelines.
Each person attending a week of C.E. Mission Weeks between ages 13 and 17 must do the following to register:
- Fill out and sign two forms: (1)Teen Registration Form and (2)Teen Medical Liability Form
- Fill out a Skills Inventory Sheet
- Submit a copy of your health insurance card (this is required to expedite time at a hospital if needed).
The Teen Registration Form, Liability Form and Skill Inventory Sheet paperwork are located in one file (posted soon). Please submit to your group leader.
ADDITIONAL Waiver needed for North Carolina participants
For a successful week at C.E. Mission Weeks, you will want to make sure to pack appropriate footwear for working (i.e. work boots), toiletries, bedding, stuff to sleep on (i.e. air mattress, cot) and other items.
Use the What To Bring list to guide you in purchasing items and packing before the trip.
Dear Teen Camper:
It is with great pleasure and excitement knowing that you plan to participate in C.E. Mission Weeks. This will be a week that will impact your life well into your future.
A week at our C.E. Mission Weeks will help you gain valuable skills for your walk with Christ. You will build relationships with your youth group and home owners. As you work to rebuild physically, you will mend spiritual needs too. Everyday you get a chance to learn how to work with people and tools at the work site, and every night offers the opportunity for rejuvenation by worshiping God. We know that by the end of the week you will leave tired, but spiritually stronger than when you came.
As a C.E. Mission Weeks Participant, there are forms you’ll need to fill out and return to your group leader. These items are:
Teen (Under 18 yrs. of age)
Youth Registration Form
Youth Medical Form
Copy Front & Back of Your
Health Insurance card
You can find the youth registration form, medical liability form and skills sheet at the website listed below.
Also, please take a look at the “Teen Guidelines,” which outlines the behavior that is expected from you as you minister. You will also find a link of what “What to Bring” on our website that includes the items to make your week successful.
Finally, please begin to pray about your time at C.E. Mission Weeks. You may want to pray that God will prepare your heart and the heart of the person you will minister to, for safety, and for your willingness to be used by Him. Then one day in glory God can say to you, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21).
